Tested at the works before dispatch, commissioned on site under licence.

Equipment is tested at the works before it leaves, and commissioned on site by the people who built it. The testing station carries a 5 kV high-voltage breakdown tester and variacs set up for transformer testing.

What that station evidences is that the equipment exists and is in use. It does not evidence a test result, a calibration certificate or a type test — none of which is on file, and none of which is claimed here.

What is not published

Type-test reports, calibration certificates and routine-test formats are not published. None has been supplied for publication. Test records are handed over with the equipment they belong to.
