Works gallery

Every photograph and video here is Jayess equipment at the Jayess works. Nothing is stock, nothing is generated, and nothing is another manufacturer's product. Captions state what the frame cannot — the stage, and any rating legible on the unit itself.

Assembly

A servo voltage stabiliser part-assembled in its steel frame: strip-wound buck-boost coils on a laminated core above, variable winding assemblies below, joined by aluminium busbar links to an insulated terminal board at the base.

Front elevation of a multi-section low-tension panel lineup, doors closed. Two incomer sections on the left carry indication lamps, meters and rotary switch handles above glazed breaker windows; the sections to the right are columns of outgoing feeder compartments, each with a meter and a rotary switch-disconnector handle, with louvred busbar chambers along the top.

A floor-standing LT panel lineup on the works floor with several doors swung open, showing switchgear and wiring inside the compartments. The left sections carry rotary switch-disconnector handles and a digital meter; the centre section is labelled as the main LT panel with DG and power factor correction; the right-hand section carries a power factor controller above two rows of indication lamps.

Testing

A grey testing console with four instrument panels, energised indication lamps, digital voltmeters and ammeters, four variac control knobs along the bench, and a high-voltage test lead coiled on the surface.

Photographs and video currently on file are working copies rather than camera originals, so they are published at the size they were supplied. Video plays only when you press play — nothing downloads before that. Originals are being recovered, after which these frames will be re-derived at full resolution.

Visit the works

Photographs are a poor substitute for standing in front of the plant. If you are specifying equipment, ask for a works visit.
