The retention period is set: uploaded files are deleted after 6 months. What remains is a read-through and sign-off by Jayess & Co., and an effective date.
Everything below describes what the system as built actually does. It is written from the architecture rather than from a template, so nothing in it is boilerplate that turns out not to be true.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form and any files you attach: your name, organisation, e-mail address, telephone number, the technical details of your requirement, and drawings, specifications or photographs you choose to send.
The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics tag, embeds no third-party script and contains no tracking pixel. Nothing is loaded from another company's server. Technical details you enter while browsing — a rating, a voltage — are held only in your own browser for the length of the visit, so the enquiry form can pre-fill them and you do not type them twice. They are never sent anywhere until you press send.
Where it goes
The enquiry is sent by e-mail from our own mail server to our own mailbox, and the attached files are written to storage on our own hosting, outside the public area of the website. No third-party form service, marketing platform or customer-relationship system is involved.
Retention: uploaded files are deleted 6 months after the enquiry. A specific period is stated because drawings are commercially sensitive and "as long as necessary" tells you nothing.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or share your details.
- We do not send marketing e-mail unless you ask for it.
- We do not publish your drawings, photographs or project details anywhere.
- We do not name you as a client, or use your project as a reference, without written permission.
Asking us to delete it
Write to us and we will delete your enquiry and any files attached to it. If you sent a drawing you would rather we did not keep, say so and it will be removed.
